MG&A Veterinary Market Research: Is cost really the main advantage of seeing an RVN?

With another highly succesful British Veterinary Nursing Association Congress (BVNA) behind us, our third post this month answers the third of our veterinary-nurse-specific questions…

1. For which, if any, have you seen a vet nurse for in the last 12 months [LIST SUPPLIED]
2. Overall, how satisfied were you with the nurse appointment/s with [DOG]?
3. What, if anything, is the MAIN ADVANTAGE of seeing nurse rather than a vet?
4. What EQUIVALENT level of qualification do you think most fully qualified, registered vet nurses have?

    Results

Just over a quarter of owners (28%) felt that the main advantage of seeing an RVN is they can give you more time than a vet. A further quarter (27%) felt that the main advantage is that it is less expensive to see an RVN than a vet. If you would like to know what the others thought was the main advantage, do get in touch.

Over the month of October, we will reveal how dog owners responded to the other questions. If you just cannot wait that long or if you would like to discuss the possibility of conducting your own bespoke survey, we’d love to hear from you.
